I believe that gardening should be fun, the key word there being “fun.” I don’t believe in putting pressure on one’s self to create a perfect landscape photo that can be expensive and stressful. I believe in the process, the creative part, the building, and yes, also the result. Maybe it’s most fun for some people to just relax and enjoy a lovely outdoor space and that’s okay too. That’s where horticultural professionals like I come in. But if you find yourself frustrated by your plant choice mistakes, feeling broke from buying too many cool plants, exhausted from digging all day, and gleeful at how a new border you just planted looks, this is the blog for you. My aim is to share the messy joy of gardening (specifically in the Pacific Northwest) and meet other like-minded plant nerds.
